A complimentary visit for your child under 24 months.

The American Academy of Pediatrics and the Academy of Pediatric Dentistry both recommend establishing a “dental home” for your child by one year of age.  We want to encourage this habit by offering a complimentary first-time visit for all children under the age of two who we call our “Lil’ Sparklers”.

Work with us to create a positive first experience.

Talk to your child before his or her visit, but keep things simple. When discussing dental procedures, avoid using words like “drill,” “needle,” “shot,” or “hurt”. Our team is trained to use other non-threatening terms that convey the same meaning, but in a much more pleasant manner in order to make your child feel comfortable.

We encourage parents of first-time patients to remain with their child for the initial examination. However, for subsequent examinations, we suggest allowing your child to accompany our staff through their dental experience. This approach allows us to build a strong foundation of trust with your child that sets the stage for future visits. Even so, it is always your prerogative as a parent to be present in the examination room when your child is being seen.
